We Put Children
on the Stage

Our Tri-Arts Program introduces young people in Los Angeles to performance, music, and theater. The arts build the skills that school alone cannot teach.

What We Do

The Arts Change What a Child Believes About Themselves

The Society LA Chapter's Tri-Arts Program is built on a simple idea: when children perform, they grow. Every rehearsal, every scene, every moment in front of an audience builds confidence, discipline, and the belief that hard work leads somewhere.

We have seen it in test scores. We have seen it in classrooms. We have seen it in the way a child carries themselves after months of learning, collaborating, and stepping into the spotlight. The impact does not end when the curtain falls.

Our Chapter's Commitment

Every Single Member Gave

The Los Angeles Chapter does not just talk about community investment. Every member made a personal financial contribution to fund this year's Tri-Arts production. That kind of collective commitment is rare, and it is the foundation this program stands on.

Together with over $25,000 raised through our broader fundraising efforts, our chapter showed what it looks like when a community decides that arts education is a priority worth backing.

We are asking others to join us in that commitment.

The Results

Arts Participation Moves the Needle in the Classroom

At one of our community school partners, students who participated in the Tri-Arts Program showed measurable gains in reading scores. This aligns with research showing that arts engagement improves focus, literacy, and academic confidence.

For many of these students, this is their first experience with live performance. It is also the first time they have been asked to memorize, interpret, and deliver something in front of an audience. Those skills transfer directly to the classroom and beyond.
