WHO WE ARE
The Society, Incorporated, Los Angeles Chapter is a nonprofit organization of women committed to supporting young people in the arts. Through scholarships, mentorship, and community-based programming, we create opportunities for students to develop their talents, build confidence, and pursue their creative paths.
OUR MISSION
To promote friendship and social exchange among members; to function as a resource for young people in the arts; and to promote educational, civic and cultural experiences within the community.
WHY IT MATTERS
For many young people, especially those in underserved communities, the arts are more than an extracurricular activity, they are a catalyst for confidence, self-expression, academic success, and opportunity. Every performance, painting, poem, or song becomes another step toward discovering purpose, building resilience, and realizing their full potential.

The Society, Incorporated, Los Angeles Chapter is committed to expanding access to the arts through two signature programs that empower, inspire, and celebrate young creatives across Los Angeles.
Creative Artists Showcases
Our Creative Artists Showcases provide young literary, visual, and performing artists with an opportunity to share their work, amplify their voices, and be recognized for their artistic excellence. As the culmination of year-round learning, mentorship, and artistic development, these showcases celebrate creativity while building confidence, inspiring achievement, and demonstrating the transformative power of arts access.
Student Productions
Our Student Productions immerse young people in the collaborative process of bringing stories to life on stage. Working alongside experienced directors, teaching artists, and mentors, students develop their artistic skills while building confidence, leadership, teamwork, and self-expression. These productions provide meaningful performance opportunities and unforgettable experiences that inspire a lifelong appreciation for the arts.
